Tahi is an actor. Before commencing at the New Zealand Drama school, she trained in mask and puppetry with the physical theatre company RedMole. Tahi went on to partake in Nina Nawalawala’s workshops on mask and object animation. After Drama School, Tahi collaborated with Jade Eriksen, devising many shows including Poop a comedy about the murder of pigeons and Migrant Nation, a work exploring the history of immigrants in New Zealand, devised by actors and young refugees. Tahi has worked with several theatre practitioners who draw on non-literal story telling methods such as Warrick Broadhead, Stephan Bain, Jo Smith, Kate Parker and MASSIVE Company. She is currently working, as a dramaturge, with Auckland choreographer Julia MIlsom on the project Locked.
