Nadam has a BA in Performance from the University of Rio de Janeiro and now develops multidisciplinary performance works uniting visual arts, dance, theatre, video and poetry. Nadam’s practice is based on his belief that all art forms are one. This philosophy is central to the work of his company GrupoUM, which he co-founded with Domingos Guimaraens in 2003. Nadam has won many local and national awards in visual arts, poetry and theatre and has performed and led workshops in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay and France. He is currently organising a programme of artistic residencies in Interacoes Florestais, an ecovillage in Minais Gerais.
