Masizole is a performer, theatre maker and a praise singer by birth (Imbongi Yomthonyama). He has been involved in many productions throughout South Africa with Artscape Theatre, Magnet Theatre, and Project Phakama. Masizole performed recently in Ezakwammelwame, Last Breath in South Africa, Town Ship Talks and is currently working with Artscape Theatre on the piece Nosel’eyibethile Akakayoji. Supplementing his career as a performer, Masizole has undertaken training in theatre management, facilitated by the Siyanza Family Cultural Project in Kraaifontein. Masizole’s television appearances include the series’ London Guy, Stokfel (SABC 2) and Interogation Room (SABC 1).
