Lynnette is an experimental theatre practitioner and producer. She is the founder and co-artistic director of mouth to mouth, an international performance collective based in eight primary locations around the world. mouth to mouth has taken part in Mediatised Sites, Dance City, Best in 3 at Northen Stage and Contamination in BAC’s commission space as part of Masque of the Red Death. Other Performances include platform at Dance City, Connecting Principles, 1 in 3 at Northen Stage, No fixed Abode a BAC Stratch, Virtual Band at Whitechapel Gallery and Collision symposium at the university of Victoria (Canada). Independently Lynnette has been Assistant Director to Mem Morrison in the development of projects with BAC’s YPT group and is currently Assistant Director to Julian Maynard Smith of Station House Opera on BAC’S Afterhours programme. Lynnette is primarily interested in finding new ways of conversing and also seeks to address the notion of ‘local community’ in an international and technologised context. As a creative programmer, Lynnette has developed and delivered key festivals and events, the most recent example of which is Gathering Bodies and Memories festival, which brought over twenty international female artists to Bernie Grant Arts Centre. Prior to this Lynnette was Assistant to the Artistic Director at BAC and also produced at Battersea Arts Centre, credits include Assistant Producer on Rapunzel, a Kneehigh & BAC production, Apples and Snakes events, 1927 and Menopausal Gentleman by Peggy Shaw. Also Lynnette has worked as the project manager and cinematographer on the short film What Did You See?  Lynnette has an MA in Performance from Goldsmiths and a BA (Hons) in Electronic Media specialising in Fine Art Film from the University of Wolverhampton.
