Joshua is a practitioner of street and contemporary dance. He creates original remixes of dance songs to accompany his performances and is frequently commissioned to do so for other artists. For the last two years, Josh has worked closely with the Hackney based dance organisation, Ebonessence, mixing music for its winning Street Dance Weekend entry and sell out Hoxton Hall Shows. He recently made a short documentary about the history of Ebonessence. Josh has remixed music tracks for tap dancers, body poppers and other artists such as the Boroughs United winner Divulge. He designed the sound, light and created music for the recent performance, Hipnotic, a week long arts project exploring the history of hip hop. Josh is currently in rehearsal for a co-production between Ebonessence and Angika, which will be performed at the Lift Festival in Shoreditch.
