Janine is a resident of Newham and is studying journalism at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design. She has been involved with Theatre Venture for the past six months, performing in two shows and playing several different characters as part of the ensemble. Janine is a former member of Newham Youth Parliament where she was given the opportunity to develop her performance skills in the organisation’s annual showcase. In her final year, she devised and performed a solo spoken-word piece about a teenage mother. Janine is a keen writer and hopes to develop her talent through Theatre Venture and the IFEA.
