East London Dance has a dynamic programme of work supporting artists and young people in dance. We are committed to the development of the artistic and business skills of artists living and working in east London – enabling artists to create new work, showcase their work, make links regionally, nationally and internationally, upskill and develop portfolio careers. We regularly commission new work and create opportunities for this to be showcased here in east London and beyond and we also actively nurture the growth of young dance makers who are making their mark in dance and shaping the dance of tomorrow. To be invited to join the partnership developing a festival for young emerging artists simply made absolute sense.
