Fook Meng is an actor, director and writer. He has performed with various touring companies and, in 2003, joined the theatre group Zao Xin Chang to perform in their production Dai Ko Dai at the Festival Theatre of Malaysia. In 2004, Fook Meng and other members of Zao Xin Chang took part in Contacting the World, a programme initiated by Contact Theatre, Manchester. Fook Meng has been nominated for many awards for his play Brother and for his direction of My 15 Fly Away Like a Bird. He recently directed A midsummer night’s dream in the international Shakespeare 24 project.
