Cemil graduated from Bilkent University with a BA in Acting in 2005 and is currently studying at Bahcesehir University for a masters degree in the subject. He continues to work in both theatre and film. Cemil has collaborated with many directors, most notably Zurab sikharulidze (Happy Days and Macbett) and Murat Daltaban (Mercury Fur). Mercury Fur was Cemil’s first performance on the stage of Istanbul’s Dot Theatre, whose ethos is centered around ‘distilling the spirit of the urban dweller in our age’ from both existing and commissioned texts.
